Ben Cooper rubber Superman figure (1973)

From the makers of the now classic Halloween costumes came this Superman rubber figure.  Released in 1973 by Ben Cooper, Inc., these one-piece molded rubber figures were sculpted in an arms up flying pose and had an elastic loop on their backs so they could be hung.

These figures were produced in blue rubber and then hand painted with red, yellow, black, white and skin tone which resulted in many variations on the final look.  Because of this, no two were exactly alike.
