I greatly miss the Warner Bros. Studio Store. You could find many DC Comics related merchandise as well as some cool statues of DC heroes. Among the myriad of merchandise was this 1998 Superman wristwatch. It was a standard battery operated analog wristwatch with an ‘S’ symbol on its face, but its band was nicely designed with a black-and-white under layer of the Daily Planet building under a clear rubber band. On the surface of the clear band were color prints of Superman and captions with familiar lines like “up in the sky”, “a bird…”, “a plane…”, and so on. Because of the separation of the two prints by the clear rubber, it made the images pop off the background.
