This is a box of Limited Edition Superman Crunch cereal. Produced in 2006 by the Quaker Oats Company as part of the marketing for the movie Superman Returns, this cereal was very close to that of the original Cap’n Crunch cereal but with added red ’S’ shield shaped cereal bites that had blue specks in them which were designed to turn the milk blue when dissolved.
The box featured a large image of Cap’n Crunch and an additional image of Brandon Routh as Superman flying and punching a red “meteorite” which seems to explode to create the red ’S’ shield shapes. The Superman Returns logo is also featured on the box. On the back of the box, there is a board game in which you play against a friend to get to the bowl of Superman Crunch Cereal. The back also has information on how to win Superman Returns merchandise.
