In the 1990s the spin pop craze took hold of children everywhere. This fascination with a rotating lollypop carried over into the 2000s and can still be found as we near the 2020s.
This is a Superman Cap Candy Spin Pop released in 2005. The figural Superman was made by Hasbro and OddzOn Inc. and has a “Fresh Strawberry” Chupa Chupa lollypop in its head. The battery powered figure is designed so that when pressing the ’S’ shield on its chest the lolly pop rotates and the figure’s right arm goes up and down.
The Spin Pop was created by entrepreneur John Osher.
