Mattel Justice League Superman figure (black suit variant) (2003)

This Superman figure, produced in 2003, is from the original Justice League animated series line from Mattel.  Already creating alternate figures for the line, this is a variant Superman figure with a black suit and black negative spaces within the ’S’ symbol on his chest.

The figure comes with its own stand and collector card.  The card can be used as a backdrop by sliding it into the groove in the back of the stand.  The stand itself featured a molded set of letters (“L” and “E”) at the base.  When you collected all the figures in the line (Hawkgirl, Green Lantern (Jon Stewart), Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash) you could click all of the bases together and the letters would spell JUSTICE LEAGUE.  Hawkgirl, however, was the only figure whose base did not have letters.

  1. I’m sorry, but I’ve never been there.
I visited Los Angeles and Las Vegas in 2001. I had the chance to meet different actors, including Yvonne Craig. But now I’m afraid of flying and I do not take the plane anymore. I’m sorry.
