Injustice: Gods Among Us (Series 02) Man of Steel arcade card (2017)

The arcade game Injustice: Gods Among Us that took gaming centers by storm released a second series of arcade cards. This is a Man of Steel movie variant that could unlock gameplay of the Henry Cavill version of Superman. Playing as the Man of Steel Superman, a player had the ability to use a “Flying Punch”, “Ground Smash”, “Kryptonian Smash”, and “Flying Blows”.

Muscle & Fitness magazine Vol. 74 No. 7 (2013)

This is a copy of Muscle & Fitness magazine volume 74 number 7 cover dated July 2013. The cover features a promotional photo of Henry Cavill as Superman. A 6-page article covers the production of the motion picture Man of Steel and Cavill’s journey toward increasing his muscle mass for the film.

Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts box (2013)

This is a Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts box featuring promotion for the 2013 Warner Bros. motion picture Man of Steel. During the promotion, all boxes of Kellogg’s products claimed that “you could win Superman’s powers.” After entering the contest by following a few steps, you had a chance at winning either airline tickets (flight), a personal trainer (strength), a car (speed), or movie tickets (vision), as well as some other prizes.

Mattel Man of Steel Superman 4-inch figure (2013)

Here’s yet another lesser priced Man of Steel figure from 2013. Produced by Mattel, this is the original suit version that is light on paint on the neck and belt areas. This was done, apparently, in an effort to keep the cost down. Regardless, the figure still has seven points of articulation and comes with a vinyl cape.

Mad Super Spectacular Superman: Man of Steel #1 (2013)

Fans of Mad magazine’s parodies of Superman movies over the years were disappointed when their Man of Steel parody was met with only a text mention on the cover. This was apparently their answer to that cry.
