The Batman Superman Movie VHS tape (1998)

In 1997, Warner Bros. released a direct to home video animated feature that finally connected the Bruce Timm Batman and Superman universes.  The Batman Superman Movie beautifully blended the different personalities of both characters and had a very interesting take on their first meeting.

Superman: The Movie VHS tape (1986)

This is a copy of a Superman: The Movie VHS tape released in 1986 by Warner Home Video.  Unlike today’s world where the home video versions of films are released a month after they leave the theaters, it took eight years for this film to be available to the public.

This tape racked up some serious mileage in its time since I would play it over and over again.

Super Powers Superman cartoon episodes VHS tape (1996)

Back in 1985, Warner Home Video released a collection of four home videos (on both VHS and Betamax) containing selected cartoon episodes of DC Comics heroes: Superman, Batman, Aquaman and Superboy. Although labeled under the title Super Powers, which was a prominent campaign at the time, these were actually a collection of episodes from cartoons produced in 1966.
