Yet another great looking ceramic Superman mug from 2004. This one shows off the fantastic artwork of José Luis García-López and features Superman flying sky bound from Metropolis. The reverse side of the mug has a large ‘S’ symbol. When holding the mug in your right hand, the inside lip reads, “Look! Up in the Sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman!”
This “The Man of Steel” ceramic mug was released in 2004. It’s gray and has a large image of Superman with folded arms against an ‘S’ symbol mosaic on one side and the Superman masthead logo on the other.
From the company ICUP came this great Superman Travel & Ceramic Mug 2-pack. The ceramic mug is black and has a large ‘S’ symbol on its side. The plastic travel mug has a fantastic art composite of Superman dynamically breaking chains against a sea of comic covers.
Those of you who remember the advertising for Superman in the mid-to-late 1990s will surely remember the slogan, “Don’t Mess With the S!” This deep blue ceramic mug was purchased at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis Illinois back in 1998 (my first year there) and it definitely shows off that slogan proudly.

Made in Korea for Enesco Imports in 1987 was this great “My ‘Man of Steel’” ceramic mug. The artwork of Superman (which is duplicated on both sides, divided by an ’S’ symbol) is by the legendary José Luis García-López, the man responsible for many of the late 1970s and early 1980s promotional artwork for DC Comics. At the inside rim of the mug are the words: My “Man of Steel”.
Produced under license in 2012 by Silver Buffalo, LLC. was this Superman “It Tickles” mug. This black glazed ceramic mug was designed with the cover of Superman number 32 from 1939 where Superman is struck with electricity as he says, “It tickles!” The cover art was done by the legendary Wayne Boring.
