In a deep throwback to the year of the riveting Reagan/Mondale debate, the introduction of the Macintosh, and telling someone you love “I can’t fight this feeling anymore” (an REO Speedwagon reference for those of you who didn’t catch that) this is the long awaited 2022 McFarlane Toys Super Powers Superman figure. The entire line of figures and vehicles are an homage to the immensely popular 1984 Kenner line which is still sought after to this day. This is a Kenner Super Powers Collection Supermobile. I remember seeing this on the store shelves alongside the Super Powers figures and really wanted to get my hands on one. That, unfortunately, didn’t happen until a few decades later when I was able to find this one which is unassembled and came complete with the original box and bag of instructions, stickers and vertical stabilizer.
