Among the many figures released in 2006 for the film Superman Returns was this Kryptonite Smash figure. Like many movie related merchandising, this figure, produced by Mattel, featured Superman performing a task that did not happen in the film. Here, Superman has the ability to punch a column of Kryptonite, making it break into three pieces. There is a lever on the back of the figure which, when pressed, extends the arm allowing the figure to lunge its right fist forward which has just enough force to knock over the plastic Kryptonite pieces.
